Document

The TigIR is currently the most powerful and compact thermal imaging device with a detection range of 3000m. It is an exceptionally precise, lightweight, and compact thermal clip-ont that is compatible with a variety of weapon platforms: light enough for assault rifles, precise enough for sniper rifles, and even short and robust enough for mounting on machine guns. The TigIR is one of the most popular devices on the military market and is in use by several armed forces and special units worldwide. Designed and manufactured in Berlin. Our team is here to provide you with further information about the civilian and law enforcement versions.

The TigIR™ is currently the shortest thermal imaging attachment with 55mm optics and a detection range of 3000m. The device is ideal for use in combination with 3-4x magnifying rifle scopes. The extremely short design of only 111mm allows it to be mounted on machine guns where, due to their design, there is little space available for mounting. In combination with certain rifle scopes, such as. B. the ELCAN Specter, the device only protrudes 10cm above the optics.

The housing is made of durable and lightweight aviation aluminum and is milled in one piece. The housing surface is also hard anodized and coated with Cerakote. This means that despite its low weight of just over 500g, the TigIR can withstand even hard impacts in a harsh environment, is waterproof and still lighter than any other comparable device. In combination with the athermal germanium lens, the TigIR has excellent precision even under extreme temperature conditions.

optics

The lens of the TigIR is athermal. This ensures consistent accuracy even under extreme conditions, regardless of the weather and time of day.

Thermal resolution

The TigIR delivers a particularly high thermal resolution of up to <20mK. This not only makes heat sources visible over long distances,
Even details such as clothing and hidden objects are clearly shown.

TigIR-6Z+™ - The civilian version

With 640x512 pixels and a focal length of 55mm, the TigIR-6Z+ is currently the most powerful thermal imaging camera in the civilian sector. The device is compatible with adapters from various manufacturers (e.g. 'Rusan', 'Äzse-Jagen') and can be mounted directly on a variety of optics. Compared to commercially available thermal imaging cameras, the leverage effect on the optics is only small due to the low weight and extremely short design

There is a suitable adapter for almost every lens diameter (30mm - 80mm). This is screwed onto the thread on the eyepiece side and locked. The other side of the adapter is z. B. pushed onto a spotting scope and secured with a lever. After assembly, collimation is possible, but not absolutely necessary, as the TigIR is already pre-collimated at the factory.

Our range of adapter variants and lens diameters is continually being expanded. Please feel free to contact us.
