With a weight of approximately 300g and a length of about 10cm, the PumIR is no larger than a beverage can, making it significantly smaller than the TigIR. However, when combined with the appropriate attachment lens, it offers a 30% higher detection range of 4000m. This Long-Range combination in such a compact form factor is globally unique within its weight class. The low profile allows for use with tactical scopes that can be equipped with an additional reflex sight (e.g., LPVOS, ELCAN Specter, Trijicon 4x32 ACOG with RMA). Alternatively, a backup sight, such as the ACRO from Aimpoint, can be mounted directly on the PumIR using an interface on the top of the housing. Of course, the PumIR series also incorporates all the popular features of thermal imaging devices developed by Andres Industries. We would be happy to provide information about civilian and law enforcement versions.

PumIR Afocal Lens
The PumIR lens cover can be replaced with a 2x afocal lens, extending the detection range to up to 4000m. The PumIR automatically recognizes the lens and retrieves the collimation information for the lens from the memory. This means that the PumIR doesn't require recalibration after attaching the afocal lens. The automatic on and off function also works with the cover of the afocal lens.

New to the PumIR is the top platform for special accessory options. This enables the use of rifle scopes with an attached backup reflex sight. Alternatively, a microvisor, e.g. B. the ACRO series from Aimpoint, can be attached using the adapter plate (see p. 35).
