From 8 to 10 November 2024, the NATO Future Seminar in Berlin brought together young talents from NATO member and partner states with leading experts. Together, they developed innovative strategies for the future challenges of global security.
A unique forum for knowledge and exchange
The Prometheus Forum, a series of events organized by Andres Industries AG, offered an exceptional platform on which young leaders and established security experts worked together on solutions to current security policy issues. The focus was on global biosecurity, environmental issues in the NATO context, and the future relations between NATO and Ukraine.
Exciting discussions with high-ranking guests
High-profile speakers such as the Ukrainian ambassador to Germany and experts such as Silke Bellmann (German Biosecurity Program) and Colonel Michael Lutz (School for NBC Defense) enriched the panels. International personalities such as Eléonore Thierry d'Argenlieu, Euro-Atlantic Disaster Relief Coordinator, and Bundestag member Alexander Müller, defense policy spokesman for the FDP, also contributed their perspectives to the discussions.
Further input came from Beata Patasova (NATO Public Diplomacy Division), Iryna Krasnoshtan (International Centre for the Victory of Ukraine) and Nisreen Elsaim (former Chair of the UN Youth Advisory Group on Climate Change). This concentrated expertise made the seminar an incomparable experience.
